CrewShow was founded in 2008 by Celia Wagstaff. She began the business after seeing first hand the need for mega yacht crews to connect efficiently with suppliers of goods and services.
As Celia explained : "On most mega yachts it's the senior crew who are in charge of making purchasing decisions. For example, a chief stewardess can have up to thousands and thousands of dollars to spend on uniforms, wine, groceries, cleaning materials and so on. And it's the same situation for the captain, engineer, first mate, etc. Equally, the crew need to buy supplies and goods for their own personal use. They even find themselves as 'on-board' concierges as they give out recommendations to guests chartering a boat."
